This Greek chicken marinade with yogurt and fresh herbs, like mint or dill, gives the chicken a light, herby flavor that's perfect for a Mediterranean-inspired meal!

Ingredients

plain Greek yogurt
full-fat or low-fat

olive oil

lemon juice
freshly squeezed (or red or white wine vinegar)

garlic
minced

fresh mint or fresh dill
finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

salt

black pepper
Zest of 1 lemon
optional, for extra citrus flavor
Instructions
In a large bowl or large resealable bag, mix all marinade ingredients until smooth.
Coat the chicken in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).
Cook using your preferred method (grill, bake, or pan-sear) until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Rest before serving. Enjoy!
